The only thing you can do as a fan in a disappointing season is look for bright spots that could be promising in the near future. The Cleveland Browns likely won’t do a full rebuild for 2025, but a lot of players and coaches will be moved on from. The 2024 season hasn’t been fun to watch, but there have been some players performing at a high level that could be big pieces moving forward.

While some people may think Cedric Tillman is the most promising young player on the Browns right now, it is actually Jerry Jeudy. Tillman has looked great, especially with Jameis Winston under center, but Jeudy has really shined and is proving the be the future WR1 in Cleveland. The Browns traded for him in the offseason and gave him a contract extension, so there was some pressure for him to live up to expectations. At this point, he has exceeded them.

Jeudy has also looked a lot better with Winston, which is further proof that Deshaun Watson isn’t the QB of the future with the Browns. Jeudy currently has 45 REC for 645 yards and 2 TDs, and he’s on pace for 70 catches totally 1,000 yards. If this happens, it will be his first 1,000 yard season in his young career.

The numbers are looking good, but when you turn on the tape it gets even better. His route running is unbelievable. In addition to that, he has reliable hands and he has made several clutch catches over the last few weeks. He has a total of 379 yards receiving since Winston took over at the quarterback position.

The Browns will have a lot of questions going into 2025, but they know now for sure that they have their WR1 for the future. Jeudy, Tillman, and Moore are honestly a really solid WR trio and if they can find a way to keep Moore next year, they could put up even better numbers. Let’s hope Jeudy can continue on this stretch and finish the year strong.
