The 2024 NFL season is closer than ever. The Cleveland Browns are poised to make a playoff run this season with a top 10 roster in all of football. The defense should be just as dominant as last year, while the offense, in theory, could be right up there as well. It will all come down to the health and play of Deshaun Watson.

The Browns have a great supporting cast of receivers to help Watson regain that Pro Bowl form. Amari Cooper is returning for his third season with the team, and he will be looking for another 1,000 yard season. Elijah Moore is here for year two, and I can imagine he wants slightly better stats for 2024. What we all can’t wait for is the play of newcomer Jerry Jeudy.

In addition to the big three, second year man Cedric Tillman and third year man David Bell are looking to take a step forward. And we can’t forget rookie Jamari Thrash, who has looked really good in the pre season thus far. It is a fairly crowded WR room for the Browns, but having a lot of talent there is a blessing. Let’s take a look at what their stats could look like in 2024.

Amari Cooper — 2023 stats — 72 REC 1,250 yards 5 TDs

2024 prediction — 68 REC 1,125 yards 8TDs

I think Amari is still going to be very good in 2024, but I would not be surprised if we saw him take a slight step back at WR1. There are a lot of mouths to feed on offense and he is getting older. Still look for him to break 1,000 yards again.

Jerry Jeudy —2023 stats — 54 REC 758 yards 2 TDs

2024 prediction — 75 REC 1,057 yards 7 TDs

The Browns have wanted Jerry Jeudy for a long time. He has suffered from inconsistent quarterback play in Denver, so I believe if Deshaun Watson plays the entire season, we will see Jeudy fully breakout in 2024. He is an elite route runner like Amari Cooper, and I could see him having some big games. Seeing Jeudy emerge as a WR1 type player is definitely in the cards for the 2024 season.

Elijah Moore — 2023 stats — 59 REC 640 2 TDs

2024 prediction — 52 REC 578 yards 5 TDs

Elijah Moore is in an interesting spot in the Browns WR room. I think with Jeudy being more involved, he will take a step back stats wise, minus getting more TDs. Look for him to be a role player in the slot to move the chains and make those TDs catches in the red zone.

Cedric Tillman — 2023 stats — 21 REC 244 yards 0TDs

2024 prediction — 32 REC 375 yards 1 TD

2023 was a tough rookie year for Tillman. He often looked out of place on the field and he did not do a whole lot during the season. I think in 2024, he will take a small step forward, but nothing too crazy. Look for him to make a few big plays and work on his development as a potential starter in the future.

David Bell — 2023 stats — 14 REC 167 yards 3 TDs

2024 prediction — 22 REC 235 yards 1 TD

David Bell has been somewhat of a disappointment so far in his young career. When he was drafted, many thought he would be that Jarvis Landry type receiver, but he just hasn't emerged as that guy to this point. I think he will have his best statistical year yet, but nothing mind blowing.

Jamari Thrash — 2023 stats — N/A (Rookie)

2024 prediciton — 30 REC 287 yards 2 TDs

I am optimistic about Jamari Thrash in his rookie year. He has looked better than Tillman and Bell did in their rookie years. I know it is just training camp and pre season, but he has that NFL receiver vibe to him when he’s on the field. I think he will contribute quite a bit and have a nice rookie year. It may be hard for him to be on the field as much, but when he is, he will make it count.

At the end of the day, we just need to see Deshaun Watson have a healthy season so he can spread the ball around. There is so much talent in the WR room and he has to take advantage of it.
