3 Predictions for the Chargers @ Browns game

The Cleveland Browns upset the Baltimore Ravens last week, and they look to do it again this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. For the Browns to win, they will need the ball to bounce their way again, and they have to play smart football on all three sides of the ball. Let’s take a look at 3 predictions for the matchup.

  1. Jameis Winston throws his first interception as a Brown

I know, I know. Seems pessimistic, but let’s be honest….Winston is going to throw plenty of interceptions as the Browns QB. It’s just who he is. He should have had at least two against the Ravens. I predict he finally throws one against the Chargers, but I don’t think it will ultimately decide the game. It just feels like he’s due already.

2. Denzel Ward gets his first interception of the season

Nobody is really talking about it, but Denzel Ward is quietly having an All-Pro season. He leads the league in pass breakups, and he’s almost had several interceptions. I think in this game, he finally gets his first of the year.

3. Cedric Tillman has another big game, including another TD reception

Tillman is slowly emerging as a really good wide receiver for Cleveland. It helps that he has a QB who can finally get him the ball on time, so I think the connection with him and Jameis Winston continues to grow in this matchup. Look for Tillman to have at least 5 catches for 60+ yards and 1 touchdown.
